The making of Alexander
To paint babies has it’s own charm in many ways. Their proportions are far from those of a grown up and that is what makes it so difficult. The head is usually too big for the body, the nose is too small for the face, arms and legs are too short compared to the torso etc. etc.
I don’t paint babies very often, but I made an exception for my grandson Alexander. He’s got such a cute face and this expression is just priceless, so it was too much to resist
