The making of Audrey Tautou
The portrait of Audrey Tautou took a bit more than 2 weeks to finish, take or give a couple of days.
What was most important to get right in this painting was her eyes, but also the rest her face of course. Just like another Audrey (Hepburn), Audrey Tautou is a classic beauty, but with a lot of characteristic details that makes it stand out. And her dark big eyes is one of those things.
I could have chosen a reference photo of her with long hair (which she had in “Da Vinci Code”), but I liked this pose.
