This painting changed a lot during the progress and originally I posted a lot more progress images then what you can see below. The first two images was the original idea, and then the middle bot had a make-over.

Other than that the original idea behind this painting was still there in the final result. I wanted to put together two of my favorite things – chocolate and robots – and the ChocoBots were born. Candy that can bite back when you reach for them :p Again, classic still life is something I appreciate when others paint them, but personally I find it boring to paint. So there’s always a bit of a twist to my still life’s.
