I’ve made the underpainting a bit differently on this and left out the green. And it’s not like I’m breaking any serious rules by doing so either. There’s still blue and burnt ocker in there, so that should be enough

The first layer of skin is ready and so far I’ve focused on the highlights and the mid-tones in the color. I did add some shades on the upper eyelids and where the eyebrows will be, but that’s it. And on a separate layer I’ve painted the base for the lips, which in this case is red lipstick.

I’ve given the sweater a bit of color for the sake of getting the skin tones right from the start. There will however be both more white and more red in the skin a bit later.
Also, I’ve painted the basic layer on the eye whites, which are not white but light grey/blue.

Next thing to do will be the eyes since that’s the most important bit
