Since I posted this the last time I’ve made a lot of changes. Among other things I’m redoing her hair since I wasn’t happy with how it turned out. When you’ve been away from a painting for a couple of days you see it with fresh eyes…and what looked decent earlier didn’t appeal to me at all after a while.

So now I’m painting a new hair style.
Her hands are almost ready. Some more details to do and the arm she’s resting her head on needs more highlights. But that will happen in the end.

Today I will spend a few hours trying to agree with myself about her hair style however. Since it’s so time consuming and since I’m painting this in a very big resolution it’s easy to get lost along the way. Hence why it has to be redone in the first place.
I will post an update as soon as the hair is more than a thin veil the way it is right now
